Celebrate St. Paddy's Day at the Boulder Theater!

Get your green on and come rage with Technicolor Tone Factory and friends at this year's St. Paddy's day EP(ic) release bash!

Technicolor Tone Factory (TTF), the newest band that’s blowing up the Boulder music scene will headline a St. Paddy’s Day bash at The Boulder Theatre on Saturday March 17th with some special guests (to be announced). The bill will feature an electric mix of rock fusion, bluegrass, reggae jams and funky grooves with a splash of electronics. Boulder Weekly calls TTF “…The most recent and exciting success story on this front…”, and it’s only the beginning for this hurricane of talent. After a near sell-out show at the Fox Theatre in Boulder on January 20th TTF is eager to light up the Colorado scene with their super saturated sounds. They will begin recording their first EP at Coupe Studios in Boulder early February, which will include a track or two from their live performance at the Fox on January 20th. The EP is slated to be released on March 17th at the Boulder Theater.

Bryan Lefever (TTF Percussion) is an instructor for the City Wide Highschool Drum line for underfunded high schools in Denver. A former member of the Blue Knights Professional Marching Band, “The Fever” brings extreme creativity, as well as intensity to TTF, employing complicated polyrhythm, and ultimate technique, this highly trained percussionist creates awe inspiring beats for everyone to enjoy.

Jarrod Guaderrama (TTF Guitar) started out playing all over El Paso Texas with influences from jazz, blues, funk, rock, country, and even a little electronic. Jarrod began playing small jazz restaurant gigs, and evolved to playing sold out shows opening for Josh Abbot at Whisky Dicks in El Paso. Because of his influences like Jake Cinniger, Umphrey's McGee, Guthrie Govan, Trey Anastasio, SRV, Jimi Hendrix, The Disco Biscuits, Lotus and John Mayer. Jarrod simply has an unrivaled style and a Jimi Hendrix fire, which drives the energy for Technicolor Tone Factory.

Brian Boster (TTF Guitar) could nearly be called the next Santana. Boster enjoys playing the most melodic sound arrangements, and truly has one of the best sets of ears Colorado has to offer. His influences are all over the place from Jimi Hendrix and Derek Trucks, to Emancipator and Sigur Ros. Brian has a wide variety to offer and skillfully creates extremely spiritual crescendos comparable to that of explosions in the sky.

Zach Jackson (TTF Bass Guitar) the chronic funkaholic, is one of the most talented young bassists Colorado or, we think, even America has to offer. With his influences like Les Claypool, Victor Wooten, Jaco Pastorius, Flea, and Ryan Stasik from Umphrys McGee. He brings a low frequency that is unsurpassed by many musicians. His funky lines, complicated time signatures, and crazy slap bass sounds make Zackson a versatile and extremely skilled bassist that is a must see for every rock music connoisseur.

One of Greg Kallfa’s (TTF Synth) greatest quotes is “ I use my hands not some arpeggiator,” which pretty much sums up Greg’s ability to shred the keys. Known by his peers as Melody Master Greg, “he is by far one of the most creative key players I’ve had the opportunity to jam with”, said guitarist Jarrod Guaderrama. With crazy key changes, and insane melodies, Greg really brings the heat. His influences include Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, John Scofield, Stan Getz, Erroll Garner and Oscar Peterson. Greg naturally brings the Technicolor to the Tone Factory.
