The Boulder Theater truly is an all-around entertainment venue: live music of all genres, film, comedy, spoken word, corporate meetings, tech conferences, and private celebrations to name a few. Policies may vary to fit the needs of the particular event.

GENERAL POLICIES

ALL AGE SHOWS are for patrons 15+ or older.
If you’re 14-year old wants to come to an all-ages show, a parent would also have to attend. The Boulder Theater reserves the right to not admit young children to certain shows if we feel the environment might not be appropriate for toddlers or youngsters…. parents in tow or not. Please protect you and your children’s ears. We have free earplugs at the bar for every show.

ID is required at all times for age-sensitive events.
Current State issued ID’s and Passports are the ONLY acceptable forms of ID. Temporary, school, expired or military ID’s are NOT accepted. False or altered ID’s will be confiscated and turned into authorities and patron may be denied entry.

BAGS
Patrons are allowed to attend with a small personal item such as a purse. Backpacks and larger bags are NOT ALLOWED.

CAMERAS
Cameras or recording devices? Generally no unless the band invites recording and photography. Flash is never allowed. Cameras and recording devices may be confiscated if used against the express wishes of the artist and house.

STAGE DIVING
Not allowed.

OUTSIDE FOOD & DRINK
Outside food and drink is not allowed. The Boulder Theater is equipped with a main bar and an upstairs bar that is also open most nights. The Lounge at the Boulder Theater is a full service bar and restaurant next door. You are welcome to bring food and drink from the restaurant into the Boulder Theater.
Refunds or exchanges after purchase are not allowed.
No shoes, no shirt? No entry.

SMOKING
Smoking is not allowed inside the venue, out front or behind of the venue. The City of Boulder Smoking Ordinance bans smoking within the Downtown Boulder area. Cross Spruce Street if you would like to light up please.


Handicap Accessibility

To request special seating based on special needs, we are able to accommodate you if we are contacted in advance. Generally we like to have patrons with special seating needs arrive 5 minutes prior to door time so our staff can get you settled in before the crowd. Please contact the box office at 303-786-7030 for purchasing handicapped seating or arrange for special needs. We’d like to make your evening as easy as possible.

The Boulder Theater is a fully ADA compliant facility, and we make every effort to accomodate all individuals with special needs.

ADA tickets are available for purchase via the Theater Box Office ONLY. Please contact us at 303.786.7030. We would be happy to help in person as well. Patrons will be able to purchase one companion ticket in addition to their ADA purchase.
