Welcome to the Boulder Theater. We are located in downtown Boulder at 2032 14th Street. We hope we have provided on this page the information you are looking for. If you need more information please contact us.To check out the inside of the venue and seating charts click here.
The Boulder Theater produces events that span most musical genres. We also have clients who host corporate and private events. Therefore, regulations may vary from event to event to ensure the safety of our patrons, staff, licenses and historic building.
Below is a list of Boulder Theater policies which may be amended on a per show basis.
21+ versus All Age Shows
Our events are 21+ unless otherwise noted. Patrons under the age of 21 can attend most events while escorted by a parent or legal guardian. The Boulder Theater reserves the right to not admit children to certain shows. Parent's I.D. held at the door.
Please note that even if a show is all ages, anyone under 15 must be accompanied by a parent.
For fully seated shows, all ages may be seated together most of the time. We do reserve the right, when hosting a mixed age event, to place under 21 folks in the balcony only. This is usually advertised in advance as “all ages balcony only”. The main room is then reserved for those 21 and older. For the protection of our liquor license, minors are not allowed to re-enter after leaving the venue.
ID is required at all times for age sensitive events.
State issued ID’s and Passports are the ONLY acceptable forms of ID. Temporary, school, expired or military ID’s are NOT accepted. False or altered ID’s will be confiscated and turned into authorities. Patron may be denied entry.
Here are all our No,’s that protect you, your friends and family, the artists, our staff, our licenses and our building:
- Cameras or recording devises? Generally no unless the band invited recording and photography. Flash is never allowed. Cameras and recording devises may be confiscated if used against the express wishes of the artist and house.
- Stage diving? No.
- Outside food or drink? No, we sell refreshments.
- Refunds or exchanges of tickets after purchase? No.
- Fighting or excessively rude behavior? Of course not.
- No shoes, no shirt? No entry.
- Smoking? Not inside the venue. There are ashtrays provided out front.
- Defacing or harming the facility? No
We do understand that sometimes accidents happen, and we are willing to listen to any reasonable explanation for violations to our policies.
To request special seating for special needs, we are best able to accommodate you if we are contacted in advance. Generally we like to have patrons with special need arrive 15 minutes prior to doors opening so our staff can seat you in the best possible seat for your individual needs. Please call the house manager at 303-998-9380 or e-mail Phil Rogulewski so we can help make your evening as easy as possible.
