Reopening Guidelines

We’ll see you soon! The Boulder Theater will be reopening following strict local, state, and national health guidelines.

In an effort to keep you, our staff, and our artists safe, we ask that you follow these venue guidelines:

  • Please stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19
  • • Purchase tickets online
    • – If it’s necessary to purchase tickets at the door, only one group of guests will be allowed in the Boulder Theater box office at a time
    • – Credit cards are preferred, but cash will be accepted
  • • Take note of your designated arrival time, before you leave the house
    • – You will receive an email 48 hours before the event, based on your table location
    • – When waiting outside the venue, please adhere to social queuing signs
  • • Wear a mask upon entry and at all times on venue premises, except while actively eating or drinking
    • – Masks will be available for purchase prior to entering the venue
  • • Please use hand sanitizing stations available after check-in and throughout the venue
  • • Practice 6 feet of social distancing from everyone outside of your ticket group
    • – You must stay within arms length of your table
    • – No intermingling with groups at other tables
  • • You must provide a valid phone number when purchasing your tickets for contact tracing
    • – At the event, all attendees have the choice to submit their phone numbers via an online form
  • • There will be one designated entry and one designated exit
    • – Please follow arrows and security guidance, and do not crowd the exit once a show has ended
  • • We reserve the right to deny entry or ask attendees to leave if they are not following the guidelines we have enacted to keep everyone safe

Our venue and staff will be adhering to the following protocols:

  • • All tickets will be sold as groups at cabaret tables, safely distanced from other guests
  • • Each event will have an appointed safety coordinator
  • • All doors, tables, handles, ticket scanners, computers, and railings will be routinely sanitized
    • – Sanitizations will be recorded
  • • Air flow will be maximized with open doors
    • – Our HVAC is set to pull in as much fresh air as possible and is maintained quarterly
  • • All bathrooms will:
    • – Have limited capacity to practice social distancing
    • – Have foot openers at the bottom of doors to avoid using handles
    • – Have automatic soap and paper towel dispensers available
    • – Be cleaned and sanitized at 30 minute intervals
  • • Our bar will offer:
    • – Queuing signs to practice social distancing
    • – A plexiglass shield between you and your bartender
    • – Contactless payment methods including Apple Pay & Google Pay at the bar
      • – For a completely contactless experience, please download the Vemos app (at the Apple Store or on Google Play) and let your server know
    • – Sanitized pens for signatures on receipts
    • – Paper straws to encourage mask-wearing while drinking
    • – Drink delivery to your table
    • – QR code menus
    • – Routine cleaning and sanitization on all equipment (ice scoops, ice wells, soda guns, washing sinks, bottle openers, knives, pour spouts, countertops, tongs, wine keys, credit card readers)
    • – Condiments provided in single use containers, upon request
    • – Disinfecting of all POS machines, pens, and check presenters after each use
  • • Our production team will:
    • – Ensure all touring artists are adhering to venue safety measures
    • – Clean all equipment after each use (microphones, house sound boards, light board, cables)
    • – Enforce a strict limit on green room guests
    • – Request all meet and greets are done virtually
    • – Supply hand sanitizer and alcohol wipes throughout the green rooms and on stage
    • – Suggest merchandise be sold by contactless payment with social queuing and hand sanitizing stations set up
  • • All venue employees:
    • – Will be wearing masks and gloves
    • – Will take temperature checks and be symptom screened before shifts
    • – Are required to wash their hands for 30+ seconds after using the restroom, sneezing, touching their face, blowing their nose, cleaning, smoking, eating & drinking, going on break, and before/after each shift
    • – Will go through an extensive reopening guide and training
